I enjoyed watching the plot unfold, and felt like I was sitting in the meetings with the characters. It's just icing on the cake when I saw this "...dedicated to America's military men and women. The Authors are donating 15% of the royalties to the Wounded Warrior Project" By Mike Summey on May 13, 2014 Format: Paperback As I read Blood Profits it was as if I was there in person. A great read that could easily be fact rather than fiction. With all the questionable activities going on in politics today, nothing would surprise me. An exciting read! By The Kindle Book Review on May 12, 2014 Format: Kindle Edition The blood of the many for the profits of a few. This is a true to life – fictional account and an exciting read. Three Americans try to uncover and expose a global conspiracy. It is gripping stuff. Washington war profiteering, selling of illegal drugs sanctioned by the CIA and laundered by Wall Street traders it has all the ingredients of a spellbinding book. The descriptions and dialogue take you right into the story you almost feel in the scene, it has a great sense of time and place. Great imagination, knowledge of politics and global affairs provide a compelling mix. Gritty people, twists and turns, complex plot keeps the pace up and the pages turning. Once started it is difficult to put this one down, it is well written, edgy and thoroughly entertaining. Finally a true-to-life yet fictional account of the immense corruption at the highest levels of our government, political systems and business community. America is being sold to the highest bidder and Blood Profit$ is the first novel I’ve read that gets it right. A great read. I felt I almost knew some of these characters. A call to arms for every American who is tired of those who disparage the US Constitution and the American way of life for their own profiteering! ~ Howard Putnam, speaker & author of The Winds of Turbulence

I have long admired author Jim Patrick's imagination, knowledge of politics, and grasp of global affairs, a background that gives depth and breadth to his complex, wide-ranging plot. I am already looking forward to the next volume in the new series! ~ Patricia Feldman, Senior Associate Director, Altshuler Learning Enhancement Center, Southern Methodist University.

Blood Profits is a fast-paced page-turner from beginning to end. and an all-to-believable tale of corruption at the highest levels of government. Blood Profits would make a great story for a TV mini-series. ~ Randall Larsen, author Our Own Worst Enemy

A superb "page turner". Grips you from page one and does not let go. Plenty of plot twists, but not convoluted. A MUST read!! ~ Stephen Hull, MS, PhD

Being a PHD scientist with over 40 years of work at high levels with both private business and government entities made Blood Profit$ a very compelling and interesting account of how ‘business as normal’ is anything but normal. I very familiar with the work of Mr. Patrick and Mr. Tomaszek and their abilities to be visionaries and prophets of the social, political and economic challenges just ahead. When I reviewed Blood Profit$, and the unmasking of special agendas on Capitol Hill, shady business deals and outright collaboration with the mob -- it seemed all too real. Although Blood Profit$ is a fictional account of how greed and corruption at all levels of the US extended enterprise by using mass deception, leads to the possible collapse of the American way of life; even killing innocent Americans being sent off to fight phony wars all for greed driven wealth. The portrayal of a ‘captured’ Lithium market in the hands of a few working in conjunction with organized crime and even underwritten by our own tax dollars, puts chills down backs of thinking persons who follow the age old ‘golden rule.’ Do we really live in a decaying society that is out of control and at the hands of organized corruption? That is something only you the reader can decide, but the story told on the pages of Blood Profit$ could also be very real. Blood Profit$ provides the reader with the age old story of good vs. evil. But, it also portrays and the coming of age of Generation X who ultimately rid the country of decades of corruption by exposing every element of criminal activity no matter what the costs or what levels of those exposed are in American society. ~ John Ferrante, PhD
