Annie Try

Annie Try

Annie Try, writing as Angela Hobday, is already an established writer of psychological texts, in particular the Creative Therapy series on working with children and adolescents. She has taught trainee psychologists and other professionals for many years and now works with children and young adults as an independent clinical psychologist. Her favourite areas of working have been in paediatrics and with children in the care system.
Having recently gained a Masters degree in Creative Writing, Annie's writing has stretched into all areas of her life. She loves using writing in her therapeutic work and enjoys using her skills and insight into the emotional world as an element of her fiction. Her narratives often cover recovery from disability or distress.
Annie's strong faith also informs her writing, having a habit of creeping into her characters' thinking. She is an ex Chair of the Association of Christian Writers. She has published three more novels with Instant Apostle Publishing, Trying to Fly ((2017), Out of Silence (2017) and Red Cabbage Blue (2019). All these are Dr Mike Lewis stories, featuring a Clinical Psychologist who has extraordinary clients with mysteries to be solved.
